THE MEANING IN OUR NAME
Care that leaves room to grow.
Our Chinese name, 豆小宝 (Dou Xiaobao), begins with “Dou”: a bean, a small seed that needs both care and room to grow. “Bao” means treasure. It reminds us that everyone deserves to feel valued—children, parents and ourselves. That belief is part of DouBuddy, too.
We want our children to be safe, but also curious and confident enough to make their own choices. Caring does not mean planning every step for them. It means being there when they need a little support to take the next one.
As parents, we are still someone’s children. Work and everyday life can take us to different cities. After a call ends, we may still wonder how our own parents are doing. We want to listen, offer practical help when it is welcome, and respect the lives they choose.
DouBuddy is here to make those everyday connections a little easier. To support independence, make room for care, and leave more time and attention for life. Useful AI tools—not a replacement for the people who matter.
